As part of the exhibition ‘La forêt: solitude et solidarités’ (October 11–January 18), the Ratskeller is opening its doors to young audiences by partnering with the Lëtzebuerg City Bibliothèque and offering a children's reading workshop that engages with the themes addressed in the exhibition.

The forest is a very special place. Sometimes it's a little scary because it's dark or full of strange noises, but it can also be magical, like in fairy tales. It's home to many trees, animals, and plants living together. Even though the forest isn't like the city, they are intertwined: what you do in one can change the other. In the forest, no one lives alone.

.

Trees, mushrooms, and animals help each other grow and survive. Artists and scientists observe the forest to better understand this living world. They show us that, as in nature, humans too can live better by helping each other and working together.
