Authentica

Authentica brings dynamic folk songs and dances from Luxembourg to life, infused with Mediterranean joy and Celtic energy.

Led by Italian-Luxembourgish artist Martina Menichetti, the project explores ancient tunes, stories, and legends through a contemporary lens and a rich interplay of languages. Her sound blends powerful vocals with flutes, keyboards, guitars, and percussion, drawing from Celtic, Latin, and Mediterranean traditions.

Authentica’s debut album Out in the Light (2025) received strong critical acclaim, praised as “a musically first-rate and conceptually original body of work,” highlighting her compelling presence both live and in the studio.

Having performed on international stages including Celtic Connections at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow and the Philharmonie Luxembourg, Martina has collaborated with artists such as Carlos Núñez, Dan Ar Braz, and Anxo Lorenzo, and opened for acts like Sharon Shannon and Afro Celt Sound System.
