Winterkids
Winterkids, a Christmas market designed especially for children and their families, returns to Place Guillaume II this year. Highlights include the Adventskalennerhaus, a one-of-a-kind chalet with an impressive Advent calendar façade, a giant slide, a flying reindeer ride and trampolines.
From Saturday, 19 December, when the school break begins, children and their families are invited to enjoy engaging workshops, lively shows, and concerts in the welcoming, creative atmosphere of the Winterkids Village. Place Guillaume II will be transformed into a snug, comfortable and family-oriented space.

Early closing on 24 and 31 December 2026: open from 11:00 to 18:00.
*Please note that establishments may remain open until 22:00 from Sunday to Thursday, and until 23:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.

"The fantastical reindeer"
A flying reindeer sleigh ride (carousel).
"Winter Rutsch"
A giant fun slide, which you ride down on a mat.
Adventskalennerhaus
A unique chalet shaped like a giant advent calendar that counts down the days to Christmas, with a new window opening every day from 1 December to Christmas Eve. Sweet and savoury food and drinks will be on sale from the Adventskalennerhaus. Hot chocolate, Glühwein and other seasonal drinks (with and without alcohol) are also on offer. From 26 December to 3 January, all the windows remain open.
- The windows will open at: 12:00, 18:00 and 20:00.
- During the school holidays: 14:00 and 16:00 (in addition to the regular times)
Trampolines
Winterkids Village
Children and parents alike can look forward to a warm, welcoming and creative atmosphere, complete with a range of activities, including cooking, handicraft and gift-making workshops, as well as puppet shows, singing, and live music. The full programme includes nearly 180 workshops and shows.
