Kleeschen on tour
On Sunday, 30 November 2025, Saint Nicholas and his companion the Houseker, together with his troupe of angels, will go around Luxembourg City giving out traditional goodie bags filled with sweet treats.
Programme
14:30 – Luxembourg Central Station
St Nicholas arrives by tram at Luxembourg Central Station; welcome speech by representatives of Luxembourg City; musical accompaniment by the "Tramsmusek".
14:45 – Place de Paris
The procession arrives at Place de Paris, where Titercher (goodie bags) are handed out by the "Lëtzebuerger Guiden a Scouten Georges Everling Gaasperech" scout group; musical accompaniment by the Bouneweger Nuechtigailercher.
16:00 – Ville Haute
The procession leaves Place de Paris and continues on to Ville Haute.
16:20 – Ville Haute
The procession passes through Rue Philippe II, Grand-Rue, Marché-aux-Herbes and Rue de la Reine to reach Place Guillaume II, accompanied by the Tramsmusek music ensemble and dancers from the e la place Guillaume II ; accompagnement par la « Tramsmusek » et les danseuses de l’école de danse Cathy Moes by Li Marteling dance school.
17:00-18:00 – Place Guillaume II
Short speech by Mayor Lydie Polfer; distribution of children's goodie bags at Place Guillaume II "Lëtzebuerger Guiden a Scouten Georges Everling Gaasperech" scout group; musical accompaniment by the Luxembourg City Conservatoire Children's Choir.
