There will be no "Staater Maart" on Saturday (9/5) as it is a public holiday in Luxembourg (Europe Day). The market is usually held from 7:30 to 14:00 on Place Guillaume II.
There will be some changes to traffic this Saturday (9/05) due to the Lampertsbierger Laf, a foot race organised by the Lycée Technique du Centre.

La Ville a officialisé son adhésion au pacte communal du vivre-ensemble interculturel, conclu entre le Collège des bourgmestre et échevins, le ministre de la Famille, des Solidarités, du Vivre ensemble et de l’Accueil et le président du Syndicat des villes et communes luxembourgeoises. Cette adhésion témoigne de la volonté affirmée de la Ville de poursuivre et de renforcer ses efforts en faveur de la cohésion sociale des habitants et des travailleurs présents sur son territoire.

Due to technical work, one of the saunas at the Badanstalt Aquatic Relaxation Center is closed with immediate effect until the end of May 2026.

Do you run a café, restaurant or similar establishment and would like to install a terrace on the pavement or other part of a public thoroughfare? Prior authorisation from the City is required for any such installations.
Changes to traffic and public transport will come into effect from Sunday (3/5) and, according to current plans, are expected to continue until spring 2027.
Throughout May, the Schluechthaus will be hosting seven not-to-be-missed events: Together We Groove; a record fair; Creative Sunday; A 360° Concert; Schluechthaus Sessions; Block Party Conference; and a geek convention.
