Overview
In 2026 and 2027, the City of Luxembourg and the Austrian Embassy will be teaming up to stage a series of events revolving around the theme "Wien in Luxemburg" (Vienna in Luxembourg). The programme will spotlight Viennese culture through a host of activities, cultural offerings and public events.
Gourmet Week
Luxembourg City businesses in the hospitality and catering sector are invited to participate in a gourmet week dedicated to Austrian cuisine, from 26 October to 1 November 2026.
During that week, participating businesses can offer their guests:
- a menu of Austrian specialities;
- dishes inspired by Austrian cuisine;
- Austrian products.
This initiative coincides with Austrian National Day, which is celebrated on 26 October, and aims to give as many people as possible a taste of Austria's diverse cuisine.
Participation is open to all hospitality and catering businesses in Luxembourg City.

Pop-up store
From 1 to 31 October 2026, a pop-up store at 40, Rue Philippe II will welcome three Austrian creators as part of the "Wien in Luxemburg" programme.
Through their creations, these women entrepreneurs fashion distinctive worlds blending handicrafts, innovation and Austrian cultural heritage.
