Overview
"Wien in Luxembourg" is an initiative of the City of Vienna and the Austrian Embassy in Luxembourg. This series of events will celebrate Viennese culture and the friendship between Luxembourg and Vienna through a diverse programme of activities, gatherings and public events.

Gourmet Week
From Monday, 26 October to Sunday, 1 November 2026, food lovers and curious diners will have the chance to discover the flavours of Austrian cuisine at participating restaurants. Each participating restaurant will be free to offer traditional Austrian specialities or creative reinterpretations inspired by Austrian flavours, putting its own unique spin on this rich culinary tradition.
Pop-up store
From 2 to 29 October 2026, a pop-up store at 40, Rue Philippe II will welcome three Austrian creators as part of the "Wien in Luxemburg" programme.
Through their creations, these women entrepreneurs fashion distinctive worlds blending handicrafts, innovation and Austrian cultural heritage.
Vea Purtscher of VERTESSI
Vertessi is a family-owned design company specialising in high-end glass and silverware. Known for its luxury tableware, the brand has an international presence, with its creations gracing the tables of some of the world’s finest restaurants.
Beatrix Günsberg of Günsberg Duftmanufaktur
Günsberg Duftmanufaktur is a family-owned business with expertise passed down through three generations. The company creates luxury home fragrances, scented candles and eau de parfums, as well as bespoke fragrances for businesses and special occasions.
Stefanie Klausegger of MY MAGPIE Vienna
My Magpie is a Vienna-based jewellery brand founded by industrial designer Stefanie Klausegger. Inspired by Viennese Jugendstil and created using innovative 3D printing technology, her designs combine lightness, contemporary style and craftsmanship. Each piece puts a fresh, contemporary spin on Vienna's rich artistic heritage.
