The historic home of Luxembourg City's Christmas market since 1984, Place d'Armes once again welcomes a host of wooden chalets this year, offering everything from thoughtful gift ideas to delicious festive treats, all set beneath the traditional Christmas tree and beside the nativity scene.

Traditional Luxembourgish Christmas tree
A 12-meter-high Nordmann fir from Schifflange decorated with traditional candles and red baubles of different sizes.
Traditional giant nativity scene
Giant nativity scene set at the bandstand at Place d'Armes.
Gourmet corner
Covered areas throughout the Lëtzebuerger Chrëschtmaart offer a cosy place to stand around a table and enjoy the festive food and drink on offer.
"Chahut des 4 éléments"
Merry-go-round for all children at Place d'Armes.
"Wanterzuch" (train ride)
The "Wanterzuch" train ride takes children for a ride through a winter forest.
