Overview
For the annual "Kinnekswiss loves" event, the municipal park's iconic "Kinnekswiss" is transformed into a huge open-air concert. This truly unique event sees the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, as well as international musicians and singers such as Elīna Garanča (2018), Bryn Terfel (2023), Stewart Copeland (2023) and Ronan Keating (2024) take to the stage in a picturesque setting.

2025 programme
The 2025 edition kicked off on Friday, 4 July 2025, with an electro warm-up by DJ Bisi, transforming the Kinnekswiss into an open-air dancefloor. The evening continued with a premiere: under the baton of Gast Walzing, the Czech National Symphony Orchestra took to the stage with a selection of Luxembourg artists (OKE, MAZ Univerze, Francis of Delirium, Schëppe Siwen, ROME, Jackie Moontan, Nosi, Mutiny on the Bounty, Daniel Migliosi and Jean-Jacques Maillet).
On Saturday, 5 July 2025, the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Gustavo Gimeno, took over the open-air stage in the City Park. Joined by soprano Chelsea Zurflüh and internationally renowned mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato, the orchestra transported audiences with a selection of captivating melodies.
On Sunday, 6 July 2025, Mr Goldhand kicked off the evening with his groovy tunes, before giving way to Candy Dulfer and Shelby Johnson. These two performers gave an energetic concert blending jazz, funk and soul, creating a festive and unforgettable end to the evening.
2024 programme
The headliner was world-famous Irish singer Ronan Keating, who performed with the support of the Aachen Symphony Orchestra on the Kinnekswiss stage on Friday, 5 July 2024. The evening began with a performance by Josh Island, offering visitors an unforgettable musical experience in the green setting of the municipal park.
The musical programme continued on Saturday, 6 July 2024 with the "Summer Concert op der Kinnekswiss" by the Philharmonie Luxembourg, lead by Gustavo Gimeno, with soprano Emily Pogorelc and tenor Rolando Villazón. This was followed by a concert by Fondation EME, with TRHs Prince Guillaume and Princess Stéphanie in attendance.
On the last day of the 2024 "Kinnekswiss loves" festival on Sunday, 7 July 2024, various ensembles from the Luxembourg City Conservatoire performed throughout the day. The day began with a performance by the Conservatoire's student concert band, conducted by Jean Thill, followed that evening by EDSUN and final act Róisín Murphy.
2023 programme
The headliner was Stewart Copeland, famous drummer and founder of the band The Police. He took to the stage on the scenic Kinnekswiss to perform as part of his "The Police Deranged for Orchestra" tour on Friday, 30 June 2023. The audience basked in the lush setting of the municipal park listening to their favourite The Police hits played like never before, with the accompaniment of the Luxembourg Chamber Orchestra and the Luxembourg Military Band.
The musical programme continued on Saturday, 1 July 2023 with "Rhapsodies on the Kinnekswiss", put on by the Philharmonie Luxembourg. Gustavo Gimeno conducted the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, featuring Yuja Wang on piano.
On the last day of the 2023 "Kinnekswiss loves" festival on Sunday, 2 July 2023, various ensembles from the Luxembourg City Conservatoire performed throughout the day. The final concert of this festival was the show "Dicksiana". This closing concert was conducted by Jean Thill, chef-adjoint of the Luxembourg Military Band.
