Luxembourg City has hosted its Fête de la Musique since 2000. The music festival gives amateur and professional musicians the chance to hold small free concerts in public spaces. At this vast swathe of concerts, residents and visitors are treated to an eclectic mix of music – including classical music, jazz, rock, world music and folk – performed in different languages as they stroll through the capital's streets.
