Repas sur roues (Meals-on-wheels)

This meals-on-wheels programme (repas sur roues) offers home-delivered meals to people over 65 who live in Luxembourg City and have a medical certificate making them eligible for this service.

Distribution

Meals are delivered on all working days. An additional meal may be delivered on Saturday or on the eve of a public holiday if the customer wishes. These additional meals are to be stored in the refrigerator and reheated the next day using the procedure described below.

Meals are delivered with a packaging and heating system known as Inducook. The complete meal package is delivered chilled, transported in specially designed vehicles and on compact thermo-insulated MenüMobil trays. The customer then heats the meal package at home for 42 minutes.

Meals are delivered daily between 9:00 and 11:30.

If you need to cancel one or several meals, or wish to renew your meal deliveries, we ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice. For workdays, such requests can be made until 7:00 on the same day; for Saturday and Sunday meal deliveries, such requests can be made until 15:00 on the previous Friday.
