ProActif SIS S.à r.l., in collaboration with the City of Luxembourg, has set up an assistance service called "Petits travaux", aimed at people aged 70 or over, people with special needs, and people who are temporarily immobilised for health reasons.

In order to use this service, you must live in Luxembourg City, and in the building which requires intervention.

Outdoor maintenance

Services

  • watering of flowers and/or grass;
  • weeding;
  • general garden maintenance;
  • removal of dead leaves;
  • hedge trimming;
  • grass cutting.

Eligibility conditions

Gardening is limited to one (1) hour per visit, per team of three workers, with a maximum of six (6) visits per year.

Clients will be issued a quote, specifying that the first (1) hour of work will be billed at the City of Luxembourg’s standard rate.

Any work exceeding one (1) hour will be billed at the rates applied by the company ProActif SIS S.à r.l.

Rate

The rate is set at EUR 88.50, inc. tax, per hour of work by a team of three workers. This rate is applied per 15-minute time-slice.

Indoor home maintenance

Services:

  • changing bulbs, locks and similar services;
  • unclogging sinks;
  • replacing taps;
  • repairing rolling shutters.

Eligibility conditions

Minor repairs are limited to a maximum of three (3) hours per month.

Rate

The rate is set at EUR 29.50, inc. tax, per hour per worker. This rate is applied per 15-minute time-slice.

Help with everyday tasks

Services

  • shopping for basic necessities – particularly at the supermarket or pharmacy.

Amounts paid at the till by ProActif SIS S.à r.l. are billed back to the client.

Eligibility conditions

Help with everyday tasks is limited to two (2) visits per month.

Rate

The rate is set at EUR 29.50, inc. tax, per hour, charged per slice of 15 minutes.

Billing and complaints

Additional costs may be billed – in particular, material costs, costs for the removal of special types of waste that cannot be accepted by the City of Luxembourg's Resource Centre, additional travel expenses, and parking charges.

Invoices are issued by ProActif SIS S.à r.l. on the basis of the signed record of work. Clients will be billed for any cancelled appointment that is not cancelled at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance.

Any complaints regarding billing or the performance of services must be submitted directly to ProActif SIS S.à r.l.
