zEduardo

about

José Eduardo aka zEduardo is a social worker based in Luxembourg who shares his passion for music through vinyl DJ sets and his monthly radio show Iya Afirika.

From the unexpected and random encounter with the V.A. " THE WORLD ENDS: AFRO ROCK & PSYCHEDELIA IN 1970S NIGERIA PART 1" in the mediatheque of Namur, he developed a passion and became a digger of African music from the 70s-90s, namely Afro-beat, Afro-Funk and Afro-Disco.

Fan of a huula-hop Dj sets that invite our hips to run away.

Nebula Quartet

From a drifting nebular cloud, sound begins to take shape. Delicate, fleeting, almost transparent — and yet carrying an unexpected sharpness as clear lines and strong melodies emerge from the haze. This is how the Nebula Quartetunderstands itself: as a constantly shifting field of sound in which ideas rise, condense, and dissolve again, only to reappear moments later in a new light.

The repertoire consists of original compositions that move between modern jazz, rock, impressionism, and free textures. Because each member contributes as a composer, every piece carries a distinct voice — sometimes rhythmically pulsating, sometimes floating and open, sometimes shaped by harmonic density. Yet the shared breath always remains present: the listening, the answering, the continuing of each other’s ideas.

REIS DEMUTH WILTGEN

Pianist Michel Reis, bassist Marc Demuth and drummer Paul Wiltgen are three of Luxembourg’s most prominent jazz musicians. They formed the REIS DEMUTH WILTGEN Trio in 1998 while still in high school and performed on a regular basis in and around Luxembourg for a couple of years. The trio reunited in 2011 eager to share their experiences and new music. Their self-titled first album was released on Laborie Jazz to widespread critical acclaim. Since the release, the band has toured extensively throughout the world and has appeared at major international jazz festivals in Europe, Asia, North and South America and Western Africa. The band's sophomore album "Places In Between" was recorded in New York City and released on Double Moon Records in 2016. The trio is now signed to the Italian label CAM JAZZ for whom they have recorded two albums: “Once In A Blue Moon” (2018) and their latest release "SLY". For 2026, Reis Demuth Wiltgen has planned the release of their orchestral project which features the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra and two stellar collaborators from the United States: 7 time Grammy Award winning conductor and composer Vince Mendoza and the world-renowned jazz saxophonist Joshua Redman.

In 2027, the trio will release its sixth album, a live recording captured at Tokyo's renowned Cotton Club.

Singülar

about

In the hushed silence of a concert hall in southern Luxembourg, three sound-seekers meet for the first time: Pascal Schumacher, Sebastian Studnitzky and Edward Perraud. What follows is not a session, not a plan. It is an awakening. SINGÜLAR captures the trace of that first encounter — raw, electric, unrepeatable. Jazz here is not asserted as a style, but transformed as material — dissolving into ambient layers, space and silence, friction and pulse.

daoud

about

The problem child of jazz who refuses to play by jazz’s rules, daoud imagines a music driven by a sense of inadequacy - one that disrupts conventions without seeking approval, resonating equally with curious newcomers and seasoned purists.

His work is charged with a persistent tension: between playfulness and gravity, chaos and tenderness, irony and sincerity. With ok, his upcoming album to be released by ACT in 2025, he delivers a personal manifesto shaped by collapse and repetition - but also by the perseverance required to begin again.

Around the music, the artist crafts a raw visual universe, marked as much by provocation as by youthful abandon, a return to childhood not for comfort, but to unearth contradictions. Fragility, impermanence, satire - his aesthetic embraces the flaw rather than concealing it.

On stage, daoud and his band bend the rules with a mix of restrained lyricism and explosive force. Since the release of GOOD BOY in 2024, praised by critics, they’ve played a string of sold-out shows and standout performances, from Ronnie Scott’s in London to the Montreux Jazz Festival, with a stop at Marciac along the way. At the same time, daoud composes and produces for others, without ever letting go of a personal approach that grows ever freer and more uncompromising.
