Traffic information

How will traffic be affected during the works?

For vehicular traffic:

The affected sections on Rue Emile Metz will be gradually closed off to traffic as the project progresses.

Pedestrian access and access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout the works. Vehicular access to private properties will be maintained insofar as technically feasible.

For businesses and deliveries:

The City of Luxembourg will try to ensure access for deliveries to local businesses for the entire duration of the works.

As construction progresses, there will be changes to the flow of traffic in this area. Appropriate signage will be put in place by the City's Service Circulation (Traffic Department). The City of Luxembourg thanks local residents, businesses and road users for their understanding and regrets any inconvenience that the works may cause.
