The Service Bâtiments (Buildings Department) is in charge of:

  • maintenance for buildings belonging to the City: conversion, extension, and compliance with the current regulations
  • completing new constructions and large-scale conversion for which the Service Bâtiments (Buildings Department) works with private-sector architects, who design the projects and implement them. As project owner, the Service Bâtiments works in close collaboration with private-sector architecture firms, and ensures compliance with the procedures and regulations in force, both during the project planning phase and when the work is performed at the work site, as well as ensuring compliance with the budget voted on by the municipal council.
