Ahoy, matey! The City's model sailboats will return to the P...
Educators and youth coordinators offer a range of activities for children, including: outdoor and indoor games, creative, artistic and sporting activities, discovery walks and workshops, theatrical events, themed programmes, and much more.
The activities begin at around 14:00 and end between 17:00 and 18:00. Since Aktioun Bambësch takes place during school holidays, the organisers take care to make the afternoons as fun as possible and get the children involved in selecting their activities.
In keeping with our mission, the ultimate goal is to spark and encourage children's creativity, provide opportunities for them to develop their knowledge, and allow them to engage in group activities in a fun and entertaining environment outside of school.
During these activities, the children are closely supervised by specially trained youth coordinators, who themselves are overseen by educational staff from CAPEL, which belongs to the Service Foyers scolaires (Childcare Department).

Aktioun Jugend Aktiv
The Jugend Aktiv activities take place at the same time as Aktioun Bambësch, and are aimed at young people between the ages of 13 and 17 who live in Luxembourg City.
They are held every year in Itzegerstée over a period of 4 weeks during the summer holidays, in the afternoons from 14:00 to 18:00. There is no need to register in advance.
Aktioun Jugend Aktiv gives the city's young people the chance to spend their free time being active by doing fun activities in a friendly and welcoming setting. Participants are supervised by youth coordinators who are overseen by CAPEL educational staff, and a special bus service is operated daily. Participants are free to join the Aktioun Jugend Aktiv activities on the days of their choosing.
