History
The project entails the construction of four apartment buildings as part of the "Centre de Merl" Special Development Plan (Plan d'aménagement particulier – PAP) in collaboration with the National Low-Cost Housing Administration (Société Nationale des Habitations à Bon Marché – SNHBM), which will serve as the project manager and oversee the construction work.
Project overview
The four buildings provide a total of 47 housing units, which will be added to the City of Luxembourg's rental housing stock. They range from one- to four-bedroom homes, several of which are adapted for people with reduced mobility. Each unit has a balcony or a terrace.
The project also includes a shared underground parking garage, bike racks, and public and private green spaces. The residential buildings feature green roofs as well as solar photovoltaic and thermal systems, and have a class B-B energy performance rating.
