Wishing to be able to accommodate more guests at the youth hostel on Rue du Fort Olisy, its management team filed a request in late 2018 for its capacity to be increased by creating additional family rooms with facilities in the building's old workshop.
The designs for this new renovation project were entrusted to the firm Theisen Architectes, which also oversaw the extension of the youth hostel in 2002.
Project overview
Creation of an office, and three family rooms with five beds each and an ensuite shower room with toilet. These are located on the building's basement level, where its old workshop used to be. The refurbished space covers a total area of 120 m.
