Schueberfouer opening ceremony

Friday, 21 August 2026, at 17:00

The 2026 Schueberfouer will officially be opened at 17:00 by Luxembourg City Mayor Lydie Polfer, who will cut a ribbon woven in the colours of the national flag.

Around 18:30, the College of the Mayor and Aldermen will host its guests at "Friture Armand" for a traditional meal of "Ham a Kuch".

Mayors' Day

Tuesday, 25 August 2026, at 17:00

Meet and greet at 17:00 at the main entrance (Rond-Point Schuman, entry gate "E1").

For Mayors' Day, the mayors of the Grand Duchy's various municipalities will tour the fair, before serving in the Schueberfouer's catering establishments between 19:00 and 22:00. The earnings they receive from the restaurant operators for their hard work will be donated to charity.

Enjoy a full day of reduced prices across the whole of the fair, at games stands, sideshows and rides.

Queens' Day

Thursday, 27 August 2026, at 17:00

A right royal parade of Luxembourg queens – beauty queens, wine queens and beer queens, among others – will be on hand to greet visitors at the entrance to the fair, before touring the grounds.

When and where: 17:00 at the entrance to the Schueberfouer (entry gate "E1").

Fouersonndeg and Braderie

If you love a bargain, this is the place to be on Sunday, 30 August and Monday, 7 September 2026! Luxembourg City will be holding its traditional Grande Braderie in the city centre and Gare district. Stalls galore and convivial atmosphere guaranteed! And after you have had your fill of shopping, why not take a wander, and wonder, at the Schueberfouer?

Throughout the afternoon, Lämmy and his band will be at the fairground giving away tickets to take part in the "Lämmy Fouer Spill" prize draw.

The prize draw will take place at 18:00 at the entrance to the Schueberfouer (Rond-Point Schuman, entry gate "E1").

Half-price day and fireworks display

On the last day of the Schueberfouer, from opening until 20:00, enjoy 50% off all prices across the entire fair, including games stands, sideshows and rides.

And don't miss the spectacular firework display at 22:00 over the Pont Grande-Duchesse Charlotte!

The Schueberfouer will close at 1:00.
