About

"Raufaser" is the new album by The Horse Blinders, following their 2023 release “… an nach ee schéinen Dag” ("… and yet another beautiful day"). It stands as a deep bow to all the musicians, bands, and above all, the fans who helped make rock and blues music big in Luxembourg.

"Raufaser" features 10 brand-new songs, each dedicated to a different Luxembourgish town. After the first performance in Ettelbruck at the CAPE, with the anthem "Ettelbréck – Sylvester an der Däichhal", the Horse Blinders hit the road across Luxembourg, presenting the 10 new tracks in 10 cities: Luxembourg City, Echternach, Grevenmacher, Ettelbruck, Dudelange, Esch, Differdange, Redange, Mersch, and Vianden.

Roland Meyer plays guitar and composed and wrote the songs, Roger Melcher sings in his unique style, Mulles Scholtes spices it all up with delicate chords and ensures the sound quality. Jake Bock sets the tempo on drums and keeps everything together, while Ron Mullenders lays the foundation on bass with punch and precision. The band is reinforced by Dan Eischen on keys and vocals, and Noémie Leer on violin. Along with Rosch, they sing and create good vibes and a spectacular show.
