Overview
The nature activities unit of the City of Luxembourg's Service Enseignement (Education Department) holds its grand "Kockeldiko" nature festival every two years for families and people of all ages at Haus vun der Natur (5, route de Luxembourg, L-1899 Luxembourg-Kockelscheuer) in Kockelscheuer: "Kockeldiko".
The bi-annual entertainment programme features a wide range of workshops, stands and games on the theme of the forest, the garden, water, the farm, bees, birds and sustainable development: cook over an open fire, create works of art using natural materials, take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage through the forest, and much more!
Kockeldiko is a green event.
Comprehensive measures are taken to protect the environment: we serve organic, locally sourced, fair-trade drinks and snacks; recycling containers are available available on site; and no single-serve containers are used.
The decorations and stands are also built using natural and reusable materials.

The next edition will take place on Saturday, 5 July 2026, from 10:00 to 18:00.
