Brasserie at the Ban de Gasperich Park

On Wednesday, 10 December, the new brasserie in the Ban de Gasperich park was officially opened.

The brasserie is located right next to the main entrance of the park and functions as a transitional structure between the city and the park. The brasserie's longest facade runs parallel to Boulevard de Kockelscheuer, and comprises a double-height section in the restaurant's main room. The brasserie is a discreet building that blends seamlessly into this new urban setting, which is mainly composed of considerably larger buildings. 

With an indoor seating capacity of 80 people, the brasserie is divided into two sections: the first section is the main room with seating for up to 50, and a bar with seating for 9 at the counter; the second section will contain more intimate alcoves, which can seat up to 30. Outside, the two terraces accommodate up to 100 guests, with one facing the park and the other overlooking Boulevard de Kockelscheuer.  The restaurant will be able to serve up to 200 meals per day (table service). The dining room, alcoves and the kitchen, and the areas housing the delivery, cleaning, preparation and daily storage areas and the office, will all be located on the ground floor.
