Changes to traffic and parking

All you need to know about changes to traffic and parking: Road closures, no-parking zones, changes to delivery zones in the city centre, and vel'OH! and Chargy station closures.

While Place Guillaume II can be easily reached using different modes of transport, a few changes to traffic and parking will be necessary in connection with the celebrations.

The following streets in the city centre will be closed from 8:00 to 22:00, as needed:

Rue Notre-Dame, as of Rue de l'Ancien Athénée
Rue du Fossé
Côte d'Eich, between Grand-Rue and Place du Théâtre
Rue de l'Eau
Rue de la Reine
Rue du Rost
Rue Sigefroi
Rue de la Boucherie
Rue Large
Montée du Grund
Rue du St Esprit
Rue de la Congrégation
Rue du Marché-aux-Herbes, as of Rue de la Reine

Parking will be prohibited on the above-mentioned streets from 6:00 to 22:00 on Friday, 3 October!

Temporary closures of the Pont Grande-Duchesse Charlotte

To allow for the installation of technical equipment, traffic will be repeatedly restricted on Pont Grande-Duchesse Charlotte from Saturday, 27 September to Sunday, 5 October.

Deliveries in the city centre

On Friday, 3 October, the time slot for deliveries in the areas of Ville Haute affected by the Trounwiessel celebrations  will be moved forward. These must be carried out between 5:00 and 8:00. No deliveries can be made after this time.
