Start of the grand finale on the Grande-Duchesse Charlotte Bridge

*with live broadcast on the big screen*

Their Royal Highnesses Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie arrive in Luxembourg City, and lead a procession onto the Grande-Duchesse Charlotte Bridge for the grand finale.

The grand finale of the Grand Duke's tour of the country will take place on the iconic Pont Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, known as the Red Bridge, a symbol of the capital and the resilience of Luxembourg society.

Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie will arrive at 20:05 at the Pont Grande-Duchesse Charlotte (Philharmonie side) to a rousing orchestral performance. They will lead a procession across the bridge, joined by 1,800 people from all walks of Luxembourg, against the backdrop of a multicoloured ballet of trams. Meanwhile, Luxembourg-born multi-faceted artist Francesco Tristano will give a concert from a raised platform at the end of the bridge (on the Grand Théâtre side), while the tramway conveys, in eight stages, a group of people representing the different components of Luxembourg society. Crowds can look forward to a rich, emotionally-charged performance featuring a number of vibrant tableaux vivants, the narrative thread of which was conceived by Luxembourg writer and playwright Ian De Toffoli.

With this display, the Grand Duke will honour Luxembourg's diverse, deep-rooted and complex society, by meeting with different sections of the population, such as members of civil society, the non-profit sector, the world of sport, nursing staff and the forces of law and order, the cultural and crafts sectors, various trades, businesses and European institutions.
