As temperatures rise, it is important to take steps to protect your health. Take care to drink regularly, even if you are not thirsty. Older adults often feel less thirsty and are therefore at greater risk of dehydration.

The City has made a network of drinking fountains available to the public, providing free access to drinking water in public spaces.
The water fountains are freely accessible to everyone from spring through to autumn, and can be found at various locations across the city, near main thoroughfares, squares, parks, playgrounds, and sports facilities.

The water dispensed at all the fountains meets current health standards. The water quality is checked regularly.
