Fifth edition of "Assises sociales"

On Thursday, 20 November 2025, the City will be holding the fifth edition of Assises sociales, a discussion and information day for the social sector.  

The event will bring together professionals from the social services sector, in particular the City of Luxembourg's relevant departments – the Direction des affaires sociales (Social Affairs Directorate), Service intégration et besoins spécifiques (Integration and Special Needs Department), Service jeunesse et intervention sociale (Youth and Social Intervention Department), Service logement (Housing Department), Service Seniors (Department of Senior Services) and Office social (Social Welfare Office). It will also involve these department's partners and other stakeholders from the social field, with the aim of promoting an exchange of experiences and best practices. Furthermore, the Assises sociales event will highlight the many projects being conducted in the social field that are helping to find solutions to social issues and improve various living situations experienced by the urban population. Presentations will focus on this year's main theme, "Social sector: finance and security".
