Youth & Groove

On Saturday, 4 July 2026 from 15:00 to 22:00, the Schluechthaus will be hosting "Youth & Groove" – an event organised by the City's Service Jeunesse et intervention sociale (Youth and Social Intervention Department) in partnership with KONEKTIS Entertainment and BEAST. This year, Youth & Groove is staking its claim as a festival dedicated entirely to young people, with stage performances, hands-on workshops, spaces for information and interaction, all under the one banner.

Under this single identity, the Youth & Groove festival now brings together the Future Talent Stage music competition – an excellent springboard for young singers – and urban-dance performances that were previously showcased as part of the Intra Urban Youth Dance Festival, spotlighting hip-hop, breakdancing and other styles in a laid-back, non-competitive atmosphere.

With this new format, Youth & Groove is depicting itself as an unmissable event that celebrates young people's creativity, engagement and talent in the inspiring setting of the Old Slaughterhouse in Hollerich.

Registration for the music competition and dance showcase is now open!

If you are a young person interested in performing in the music competition, or an amateur dance troupe from Luxembourg or the Greater Region interested in participating in the dance showcase, you can now register.
