5 June 2026: Schluechthaus Sessions – Merauder (from the USA) 

On Friday, 5 June, Schluechthaus Sessions make their highly anticipated return with a hardcore edition. Merauder, a legendary New York band and one of the leading names on the international scene, will be taking to the stage with their unique blend of raw intensity, pure energy and commanding live performance.

Organised in collaboration with Attitude Music, this incarnation of Schluechthaus Sessions is a celebration of live music, heroing the authenticity of a vibrant and passionate underground scene.

6 June 2026: Crea la tua Pizza (Create Your Own Pizza)

On Saturday, 6 June, from 11:00 to 14:00, "Crea la tua Pizza" – a fun, family-friendly workshop – will give budding chefs the chance to prepare, decorate and enjoy their own homemade pizza, baked on site in a mobile oven. Participants can let their culinary creativity run wild, whether they go gooey for a classic margherita or are desperate to do their own thing. The workshop is open to all ages, and is guaranteed to be a special experience for solo participants, families and friends.

7 June 2026: Urban Harmonies – A choir for one day

On Sunday, 7 June, from 14:00 to 17:00, the City of Luxembourg will be hosting a day of choral singing in collaboration with the European institute of choir singing – INECC Luxembourg. This event offers a unique opportunity for singers, both experienced and amateur, to sing in a choir for the day, under the baton of Chantal Kirsch. After some fun vocal and physical warm-up exercises, participants will be divided into vocal sections. The event will culminate in a group performance by all participants.

14 June 2026: Reading Worlds – The silent reading festival

On Sunday, 14 June, from 14:00 to 18:00, Reading Worlds – a silent reading festival – offers people of all ages a special moment of tranquility and relaxation, in the company of fellow bookworms. Whether plunging into a novel, leafing through an essay, rediscovering a classic or sharing your love for reading with the next generation in a dedicated corner, Reading Worlds invites you to slow down and reconnect with the pleasure of reading – together, but without the need for conversation. Visitors are invited to bring their own books, or discover new ones, with a book exchange area and a selection of "blind dates with a book". Subtle background music, designed to provide the perfect ambience, will delicately enhance the experience and help readers immerse themselves fully in their books.

19 June 2026: Quiz Night

On Friday, 19 June at 19:00, the Old Slaughterhouse in Hollerich is hosting a quiz night packed with fun and challenging brain teasers, organised by the City of Luxembourg. Put your knowledge to the test, and enjoy a fun night full of surprises with your friends. That's what's in store from the “Quiz Night at Schluechthaus”.

21 June 2026: Creative Sundays – Sculpture Workshop with Florence Hoffmann

Creative Sundays make their return on Sunday, 21 June, between 10:00 and 14:00, with a workshop led by artist Florence Hoffmann. Participants (who must be 15+) will discover soapstone carving and learn the basic techniques needed to work safely with stone. By shaping, smoothing and sculpting, they can let the creative juices flow, and develop their understanding of volume and the material. This workshop offers a chance to experiment, chat with others, and enjoy focusing on a task, in an atmosphere of warmth and pleasant togetherness. Each participant will take away their own unique and entirely handmade work of art.

27 and 28 June 2026: Béton Sauvage – Street Arts Festival  

On Saturday, 27 June, from 14:00 to 22:00, and on Sunday, 28 June, from 11:00 to 18:00, the Béton Sauvage festival is coming to the Schluechthaus, transforming the site into a whirlwind of colour, laughter and breathtaking performances. Unusual rides, fun installations, games, shows for all ages, creative workshops and join-in activities will be taking over every corner of the site. Amidst the colourful stalls, carnival sounds and visual delights, visitors of all ages are invited to explore, create, play, laugh and marvel in a joyfully offbeat and festive atmosphere.
