"Trounwiessel" weekend: Getting around town – plan ahead

For safety reasons, and to ensure that the "Trounwiessel" festivities run smoothly, certain road closures, parking and car-park access restrictions, and changes to public transport services are planned, notably from Friday, 3 October to Sunday, 5 October 2025.

  • Certain streets in the city centre will be closed, and parking will be prohibited from 6:00.

Changes to traffic and parking

  • The following thoroughfares will be closed to traffic, pedestrians and cyclists from 13:00: Boulevard Robert Schuman and Avenue John F. Kennedy (partially closed), and Pont Grande-Duchesse Charlotte (completely closed).

Coming to enjoy the festivities? Then take advantage of the many park-and-ride facilities served by the tram (line T1) and municipal buses!

Changes affecting car parks

Knuedler, Schuman, and Hall Victor Hugo car parks: Access and parking availability will be affected from Friday, 3 October.

Glacis car park

The Glacis car park will be closed completely from 22:00 on Thursday, 25 September.
