On-street parking: beware of scam attempts

A fraudulent payment device has been discovered on a parking meter in Luxembourg City. This device, designed to mimic a contactless payment reader, was attached directly to the contactless payment area of the parking meter in question. Please note that the contactless payment area on a parking meter is integrated into the front panel of the machine and forms a flat surface. The contactless payment area should never be a separate box, module or protruding device attached to the parking meter. If you see one, do not use it.
