The Garer Kiermes is back at Place de Paris from Friday, 20 June to Sunday, 6 July 2025. Local fairs are a proud part of the nation's traditions and cultural heritage. In addition, the district fairs afford a warm, friendly atmosphere where people can get together and socialise, be they young or old, or new arrivals or long-time residents.
This year, the Garer Kiermes boasts 10 attractions: 3 rides, 6 food stalls (sweet and savoury food) and a luna park ride. The fair will be officially opened on Friday, 20 June 2025 at 17:00, with music from the Hollerich, Gare and Cessange municipal brass band.
The Garer Maart, which is usually held every Thursday at Place de Paris, will not take place on 19 June, 26 June or 3 July 2025 (due to the Garer Kiermes.
