The Garer Kiermes is back from Friday, 12 June to Sunday, 28 June 2026, delighting visitors at Place de Paris. Local fairs are a proud part of the nation's traditions and cultural heritage. In addition, the district fairs afford a warm, friendly atmosphere where people can get together and socialise, be they young or old, or new arrivals or long-time residents.
This year, the Garer Kiermes boasts 13 attractions:
- 1 bumper cars,
- 2 rides (Panamericana and Dumbo Fly),
- 7 food stands (savoury and sweet),
- 1 luna park,
- 1 shooting gallery,
- 1 hook-a-duck.
The fair will be officially opened on Friday, 12 June 2026 at 17:00, with music from the Hollerich, Gare and Cessange municipal brass band.
The Garer Maart, which is usually held every Thursday at Place de Paris, will not take place on 11, 18 or 25 June 2026.
