30,000 trees by 2030
The City currently maintains around 22,000 trees in public spaces. Building on this, it has set itself an ambitious target: to reach 30,000 trees by 2030.
The City has put together a range of measures, which includes a number of projects spearheaded by the City's departments, residents and private companies.
The goal is to boost biodiversity, reduce urban heat islands, and improve quality of life for all.
