Luxembourg City owns 79 housing units (houses and apartments) in different neighbourhoods and, as new construction projects are completed, more units will continue to become available. In order to be allocated a housing unit, interested and eligible parties must now register on a waiting list, using the registration form.

The College of Aldermen regularly allocates available accommodation units to wait-listed applicants. Below, you can view the housing currently available, grouped by type: C1 (one bedroom), C2 (two bedrooms), etc.

Housing is allocated based on eligibility criteria (applicant must not be the owner, co-owner, or emphyteutic, superficiary or usufructuary lessee of a dwelling, income, etc.) as well as allocation rules that take into account the basic socio-economic situation of the applicant (place of work, occupational experience, etc.).
