Kockeldiko Nature Festival | Ville de Luxembourg

Overview

Every two years, the nature activities unit of the City of Luxembourg's Service Enseignement (Education Department) hosts a grand, family-friendly nature festival – known as "Kockeldiko" – at the Haus vun der Natur in Kockelscheuer.

The bi-annual event features a wide range of workshops, stands and games on the theme of the forest, the garden, water, the farm, bees, birds and sustainable development, along with a chance for visitors to cook over an open fire, create works of art using natural materials, take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage through the forest, and much more!

Kockeldiko is a green event.

A number of measures are taken to protect the environment: we serve organic, locally sourced, fair-trade drinks and snacks; recycling containers are available on site; and no single-serve containers are used.

The decorations and stands are also built using natural and reusable materials.
