Mission
The City is actively committed to working with local businesses and organisations to promote a more egalitarian and inclusive city, including in the workplace. This commitment is fully in line with the European Charter for Equality of Women and Men in Local Life. The City adopted the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg in 2023, and is also a member of IMS (Inspiring More Sustainability Luxembourg).
Partnerships
The City works closely with IMS Luxembourg, which it also supports financially. Alongside this partner, it jointly organises various inter-company events, including the Diversity Awards.
As a committed member of the Diversity Charter, the City actively participates in meetings of the Charter's Monitoring Committee.
Within the framework of this partnership, the City is currently working with IMS and its members to develop a toolkit on preventing and dealing more effectively with sexual harassment in the workplace.
In addition, the City spares no effort to improve dialogue between the municipality and local companies, particularly in the area of equal opportunities.
Partners
The City's main partners are IMS Luxembourg, its members, and organisations and businesses that are committed to promoting equality and inclusiveness in the workplace.
