Joël Metz is a Luxembourgish saxophonist, composer and bandleader known for his energetic approach to modern jazz. Drawing inspiration from the Afro-American tradition while embracing contemporary influences, his playing combines deep grooves, lyrical improvisation and a strong sense of collective interaction. As the founder of The Metz Foundation, he brings together musicians from across Europe to create a bold, electric and rhythmically driven sound that celebrates cultural exchange and musical freedom.
