Get ready for a captivating new season of alfresco cinema in the moonlight, presented by the Cinémathèque! Back in the heart of the city, this year promises once again suspense, laughter, and unforgettable moments under the open sky at Place Guillaume II. With its giant screen and vibrant atmosphere, the iconic 'Knuedler' square transforms into an open-air cinematic paradise, inviting you to immerse yourself in the wonders of the 7th Art.

Among the films featured this year: Flow, the surprise hit and winner of the 2025 Oscar for Best Animated Film; The Big Lebowski, the cult classic and irresistibly quirky comedy by the Coen brothers; and The Great Dictator, Charlie Chaplin’s satirical masterpiece. A fine selection of films that will feature more stars than the sky can count.

In addition to the traditional Open Air in the city center, the Cinémathèque is partnering this year with the LUGA 2025, offering screenings that will make the invisible visible – the theme of this landscape exhibition. Small creatures and big environmental issues will take center stage during two evenings in the charming Odendahl Parc.
