The Service Impositions communales (Municipal Tax Department) provides:
- property tax management
- billing of sewerage charges (ground sealing fees)
- billing for residual waste, glass, paper/cardboard and organic waste
- billing for moving bins in and out of the property
- billing of dog ownership fees
- management of the municipal surtax on registration fees
- management of the tourist tax (chapter G4 of the tax regulations)
- billing of the tax on events and late-night opening

Tax cards
Applying for or amending a tax card as a resident
Tax cards are issued to Luxembourg City residents by the Luxembourg Inland Revenue (Administration des contributions directes – ADS). Please refer to Guichet.lu on how to apply for and amend tax cards.
