Roadworks on Route de Thionville, Rue de Wiltz and Rue de Clervaux

Road resurfacing works are scheduled to take place on Route de Thionville, Rue de Wiltz and Rue de Clervaux from 6:00 on Sunday, 31 August until 5:00 on Monday, 1 September 2025.
This will affect traffic as follows for the duration of the works:
- Route de Thionville (between nos. 67 to 77), Rue de Wiltz (between Route de Thionville and Rue du Cimetière) and Rue de Clervaux (between Rue de Wiltz and house no. 5) will be closed to all traffic, with no parking permitted.
- Local residents who need to use their vehicles are asked to park outside of the affected area as access to garages is not guaranteed during this phase of the works.
- Route de Thionville (between Rue St Willibrord and Rue de Houffalize) and Rue de Clervaux (between Route de Thionville and house no. 9) will be closed to all traffic except for local residents and delivery vehicles.
There will also be some changes to public transport routes during the works:
- Line 29 buses will be diverted via Rue du Cimetière. The "Dernier Sol", "Hippodrome" and "Lycée Bouneweg" / "PE Quai 7" stops will be closed and replaced by the "Léon XIII Quai 1" and "Léon XIII Quai 2", "Willibrord" and "Lycée Bouneweg" / "LTB Quai 5" and "LTB Quai 6" stops. Please note that due to the flea market on Avenue de la Gare, AVL line 29 will be rerouted via Rocade de Bonnevoie.
- The CN3 line, which is also being diverted via Rocade de Bonnevoie due to the flea market, will be rerouted along Rue du Cimetière. The "Dernier Sol", "Hippodrome" and "Lycée Bouneweg" / "LTB" stops will be closed, with the buses calling at "Léon XIII" and "Willibrord" instead.
