Mayors' Day: donation to charity

On Tuesday, 26 August 2025, the participants in the traditional Mayors' Day event – which brings together mayors from all over the Grand Duchy – presented a cheque for €5,000 to the Luxembourg Red Cross. Each year, the proceeds from the Mayors' Day event, which is organised by the City of Luxembourg together with the National Federation of Fairground Traders (FNCF), are donated to the Red Cross.
