Ouverture Pop-Up Store
On Friday 23/5, the City of Luxembourg's College of the Mayor and Aldermen officially opened three new pop-up stores in the city centre and Gare district.

Maison Album

The Maison Album pop-up store, which has just opened for business at 25, rue des Capucins, is the go-to place for anyone who wants to give new life to their forgotten treasures. The team at Maison Album carefully sort the donated articles, paying particular attention to their originality and detailed features, before putting them on sale. In addition to pre-loved clothing and leather goods, the pop-up also sells ornaments and jewellery, all while conveying its powerful message – namely, promotion of a sustainable and quality-focused economy, where every detail matters. Maison Album also hosts regular workshops and training events, notably in image consulting, wardrobe curation and communication skills. All you need to know about Maison Album, including the full range of products and services on offer at 25, rue des Capucins until mid-March 2026, can be found at maisonalbum.lu

K-Shop

K-Shop is a new boutique concept dedicated to Korean culture, located in the heart of the Gare district at 64, avenue de la Liberté and open until mid-January 2026. Celebrating the richness and diversity of South Korea, K-Shop's mission is to introduce the Luxembourg public to the fascinating world of K-culture. The business offers a carefully curated and inspired selection of authentic Korean products: cosmetics and skincare from K-beauty, typical sweets and snacks, fashion items, lifestyle accessories, and of course the unmissable K-pop merchandise. K-Shop sees itself as a bridge between Luxembourg and South Korea, inviting consumers to explore a unique, vibrant and innovative culture – one product at a time. Superette

Finally, Superette, the new grocery store occupying 3, rue Origer until the end of March 2026, is out to revolutionise the art of shopping and is much more than just a typical food shop. It's a bold and committed concept store bringing together the most innovative brands in its sustainable food, drinks, beauty, home, kids and pets sections. With its colourful, offbeat and decidedly creative universe, Superette is giving responsible consumption a fresh new look. Superette's main mission is to make people want to go shopping again, by offering a selection that's exacting, original and full of surprises – all in a hybrid shopping experience that's both immersive online and fun in store. The project

By providing commercial premises for rent on a short-term basis, the City of Luxembourg is giving creators, entrepreneurs and start-ups the chance to test out their products, services or concepts directly with their target customers. As such, the pop-up store concept is designed to serve as a springboard for tenants, enabling them to gain hands-on experience before definitively launching their business. Additionally, these temporary stores enhance the city's already rich commercial offering and broaden the city centre's appeal to a more diverse customer base.

Owners of currently vacant commercial premises who are interested in getting involved in the project are invited to contact the City's Cellule Développement économique et commercial (Economic and Commercial Development Unit).
