Stroossemaart | Ville de Luxembourg

The Luxembourg City Business Association, in partnership with the City of Luxembourg, is inviting one and all to the city's traditional Stroossemaart, which will be held from 9:00 to 19:00 on Saturday, 6 June 2026 throughout the streets of the capital.

This giant street market stretches from Ville-Haute to the Gare district, and this entire sector is closed to traffic to make way for shoppers. Hundreds of retailers take advantage of the festive, vibrant atmosphere to propose a wide range of items at bargain prices and, naturally, there will be plenty of opportunities for dining and refreshments.

Changes to traffic flow and public transport services

During the Stroossemaart, the main streets in the heart of the city centre and in the shopping district around the train station will be closed to traffic and parking. Changes to public transport services will apply from 4:00 to 22:00.
