The City of Luxembourg wishes to inform the public that stickers seeking to scam users have been placed on a number of parking ticket machines in the capital. These stickers, which bear the words “pay by phone” and a fake QR code, lead to a fraudulent website where users are asked to enter their personal details. The fraudulent stickers are placed on the side next to the “Indigo Neo” logo, covering the legitimate QR code for downloading the “Indigo Neo” mobile app, as well as on the front of the parking ticket machines.

The City wishes to remind the public that only the "Indigo Neo" app, which requires a mobile download and the creation of a user account, can be used to pay for on-street parking in Luxembourg City. Any other payment option displayed on the city's parking ticket machines is neither valid nor legitimate. An explanatory sticker displaying the words "Indigo neo" is affixed to the back of the city's parking ticket machines and clearly outlines the steps users need to take to pay their parking fees.

The City is working to remove the fake stickers as quickly as possible.
