Roadworks on Rue Cents
Infrastructure works will be carried out on Rue Cents from 6:00 on Saturday, 23 May 2026 to 5:00 on Monday, 25 May 2026. During this time, Rue Cents (section between Rue Robert Bruch and Allée du Carmel) will be closed to all traffic.
The Service Circulation (Traffic Department) will ensure that proper signage is installed and will signpost the detour route.
The following changes to our AVL bus services will also apply during the works:
AVL line 7
- Going to Hamm, line 7 busses will be diverted via <em>Allée du Carmel</em>, <em>Rue Camille Polfer</em>, <em>Rue Auguste Trémont</em>, <em>Boulevard Charles Simonis</em>, <em>Rue Arthur Knaff</em> and <em>Rue Léon Kauffman</em>. The stops "Carmel Quai 2", "Trèves Quai 2", "Robert Bruch Quai 2" and "Cents, Kierch Quai 4" will not be served. They will be replaced by the temporary "Carmel Quai 2" stop (located on <em>Allée du Carmel</em>) and the temporary "Jules Salentiny Quai 2" stop (located near the church on <em>Bulevard Charles Simonis</em>).
- Going to Neudorf-Kirchberg, line 7 busses will be diverted via <em>Rue Robert Bruch</em>, <em>Rue Gabriel de Marie</em>, <em>Boulevard Charles Simonis</em>, <em>Rue Auguste Trémont</em>, <em>Rue Camille Polfer</em> and <em>Allée du Carmel</em>. The stops "Robert Bruch Quai 1", "Trèves Quai 1", and "Carmel Quai 1" will not be served. They will be replaced by the temporary "Robert Bruch Quai 3" stop (located at 233-235, boulevard Charles Simonis) and the temporary "Carmel Quai 1" stop (located on <em>Allée du Carmel</em>).
AVL line 14
- Going to Hamilius, line 14 busses will be diverted via <em>Rue Auguste Trémont</em>, <em>Boulevard Charles Simonis</em>, <em>Rue Arthur Knaff</em> and <em>Rue Léon Kauffman</em>. The stops "Carmel Quai 2", "Trèves Quai 2", "Robert Bruch Quai 3", "Gabriel de Marie Quai 2", "Charles de Tornaco Quai 2", "Arthur Knaff Quai 2" and "Jules Salentiny Quai 2" will not be served. They will be replaced by the temporary "Charles de Tornaco Quai 2" stop (located at 24-26, rue Robert Bruch), the temporary "Arthur Knaff Quai 2" stop (located at 12-14, rue Arthur Knaff) and the temporary "Jules Salentiny Quai 2" stop (located near the church on <em>Bulevard Charles Simonis</em>).
- Going to "Cents-Waassertuerm", line 14 busses will be diverted via <em>Rue Léon Kauffman</em>, <em>Rue Arthur Knaff</em>, <em>Boulevard Charles Simonis</em>, <em>Rue Gabriel de Marie</em>, <em>Rue Paul Wilwertz</em> and <em>Rue Auguste Trémont</em>. The stops "Jules Salentiny Quai 1", "Arthur Knaff Quai 1", "Charles de Tornaco Quai 1", "Gabriel de Marie Quai 1", "Trèves Quai 1", and "Carmel Quai 1", will not be served. They will be replaced by the temporary "Jules Salentiny Quai 1" stop (located at 2A-2, boulevard Charles Simonis), the temporary "Arthur Knaff Quai 1" stop (located at 1, rue Arthur Knaff), the temporary "Charles de Tornaco Quai 1" stop (located at 31-33, rue Robert Bruch) and a temporary stop at 233-235, boulevard Charles Simonis.
AVL line 29
- Going to Senningerberg (airport), line 29 busses will be diverted via <em>Rue Robert Bruch</em>, <em>Rue Paul Wilwertz</em>, <em>Rue Auguste Trémont</em>, <em>Rue Camille Polfer</em> and <em>Allée du Carmel</em>. The stops "Robert Bruch Quai 1", "Trèves Quai 1", and "Carmel Quai 1" will not be served. They will be replaced by the temporary "Robert Bruch Quai 3" stop (located at 233-235, boulevard Charles Simonis) and the temporary "Carmel Quai 1" stop (located on <em>Allée du Carmel</em>).
- Going to Luxembourg Central Station, line 29 busses will be diverted via <em>Allée du Carmel</em>, <em>Rue Camille Polfer</em>, <em>Rue Auguste Trémont</em>, <em>Boulevard Charles Simonis</em>, <em>Rue Arthur Knaff</em> and <em>Rue Léon Kauffman</em>. The stops "Trèves Quai 2" and "Robert Bruch Quai 2" will not be served. They will be replaced by the temporary "Carmel Quai 2" stop (located on <em>Allée du Carmel</em>).
AVL line CN1
Going to Clausen, the CN1 will be diverted via <em>Allée du Carmel</em>, <em>Rue Camille Polfer</em>, <em>Rue Auguste Trémont</em>, <em>Boulevard Charles Simonis</em>, <em>Rue Arthur Knaff</em> and <em>Rue Léon Kauffman</em>. The stops "Carmel Quai 2", "Trèves Quai 2", and "Robert Bruch Quai 2" will not be served. They will be replaced by the temporary "Carmel Quai 2" stop (located on <em>Allée du Carmel</em>) and the temporary "Jules Salentiny Quai 2" stop (located at 2A-2, boulevard Charles Simonis).
Please note that the aforementioned works will be postponed in the event of bad weather.
