Roadworks on Edward Steichen
Lifting works will be carried out on Rue Edward Steichen from 20:00 on Friday, 1 August to 5:00 on Monday, 4 September 2025.
During these works, the section of Rue Edward Steichen between Boulevard Pierre Werner and Rue Dr Nicolas Clasen will be completely closed to traffic except for people seeking to access the gynecological, obstetric or pediatric urgent care centres.
Appropriate signage will be put in place by the City's Service Circulation (Traffic Department).
Public transport will also be affected as follows:
Buses on lines 7 and 25 will be diverted via Boulevard Pierre Frieden and Rue Dr Nicolas Clasen. In the direction of "Poutty Stein", the stop "Hôpital Kirchberg Quai 3" will be closed and replaced by a temporary stop at 13, rue Edward Steichen. Buses travelling towards Rue des Labours will not call at "Hôpital Kirchberg Quai 2".
Buses on lines 12 and 26 will be diverted via Dr Nicolas Clasen and Rue Joseph Leydenbach. In the direction of "Celtes / Rehazenter", the stop "Hôpital Kirchberg Quai 3" will be closed and replaced by a temporary stop at 13, rue Edward Steichen. Buses travelling towards Chambre des Métiers / Steinsel will not call at "Hôpital Kirchberg Quai 2".
Buses on lines 16 and 21 will be diverted via Boulevard Pierre Werner. Instead of calling at "Hôpital Kirchberg" (Quais 2 and 3), buses will call at "Joseph Hacking" (Quais 2 and 3).
