Mini-golf course reopens

The Pétrusse Valley mini-golf course was officially opened by City of Luxembourg officials on Tuesday, 4 August 2026. The facility is now open to the public once again after a period of closure for safety works at the foot of the nearby cliffs.

The site was initially scheduled to open in May 2025, but the opening had to be postponed due to rockfall from the nearby rock face. Working closely with the National Roads Administration (Administration des Ponts et chaussées), the City conducted several studies and undertook works with a view to reconciling user safety and the preservation of the UNESCO World Heritage site.

The works were carried out from late June to late July 2026, and included the installation of a rockfall protection net and an energy-absorption zone at the foot of the cliff. The mini-golf course now features 12 tracks in all, including nine permanent tracks and three mobile tracks.
