Art and culture without barriers

At the tenth Inclusion Gala, held as part of the Luxembourg City's Awareness Weeks, art and culture will come together in an evening celebrating inclusion and diversity. Hosted at the Cercle Cité, the event promises a rich programme of music, dance, theatre and poetry put on by outstanding performers.

Following the performances, the City invites you to a gala reception, hosted jointly with several associations that support people with special needs. At this reception, you will have a chance to meet the performers and mingle over delicious finger food.

The "Trounwiessel de Dudelange" performers

"When differences are no longer a barrier, but an invitation to dance together."

As part of the events put on to mark the "Trounwiessel" (change of reign), Sylvia Camarda and David Galassi choreographed a performance that is both challenging and inclusive.

Performers from different backgrounds come together to deliver a performance choreographed around the notions of listening, physical contact and sharing, in which every movement becomes a dialogue, and fragility becomes a strength.

Here, the "Trounwiessel de Dudelange" dancers and singers, Giovanni, Nico, Noa and Leandro, take us back to this major event, as they share their struggles and dreams with their audience. Here, no one is the same, but each carries the other.

DADAFONIC Collective

At the Inclusion Gala, Collectif Dadofonic will be performing "Disco Bal", a performance inspired by the "vogue" dance style – which originated in the 1970s New York ballroom scene – disco, and music from the 1980s.

The Inklusator

Spicy! Prickly! With a dash of humour.

DreamteamT21

The dance troupe DreamteamT21 will be performing an extract from its show, "Wir stellen uns vor…!". The show centres around an imaginary world, filled with fantasy, dreams and visions. The dancers tell stories inspired by their own drawings. They bring the drawings to life through their dances, which they created together.
