As part of the 2026 general promotion among the Grand Duchy's national orders, City of Luxembourg staff were awarded honours by the College of the Mayor and Aldermen in recognition of their service.
The 2026 Servais Prize was awarded to Ian De Toffoli, a Luxembourgish author and associate artist with the Théâtres de la Ville, for his book "Léa ou la théorie des systèmes complexes".
The gardens nestled in the lush Pescatore area of the Edouard André Municipal Park have been reopened by the City and the Luxembourg Horticultural Federation (FHL).

From 3 to 5 July 2026, come and enjoy fantastic open-air concerts in the picturesque setting of Kinnekswiss in the municipal park.
Celebrate creativity and community at the Schluechthaus on Saturday, 4 July, from 15:00 to 22:00, with a new festival featuring music, dance and interactive workshops for young people.
Starting with the Round of 16 on 4 July 2026, all matches with kick-off scheduled no later than 21:00 (local time) will be broadcast on a giant screen.

Creos Luxembourg's Gas Division will conduct an inspection of the natural gas network within Luxembourg City from July to October 2026.
The grand nature festival, with its many workshops, stands and games on the theme of the forest, garden and more, will delight both youngsters and adults. It takes place on Sunday (5/7) at Haus vun der Natur in Kockelscheuer.
Get ready for an exciting new season of open-air cinema! From 23 to 28 July 2026, the "Knuedler" will be transformed into a vast open-air cinema. New this year: the Cinémathèque is also coming to Bonnevoie, bringing the magic of the silver screen to Place Léon XIII from 6 to 8 August 2026.
Due to tram-line extension works, the tram service will be partially suspended in Kirchberg. Repair works on the Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge and upgrade works on the Schuman Tunnel will also be carried out at the same time.
