Nineteen-year-old Hamm lost his father two months ago, and his mother has already moved on. The situation is unbearable. He refuses to leave his room, which he has turned into a theatre. Using his guitar, sculpted lights, figurines, puppets, bed, desk and punching bag, as well as music by artists such as The Cure, Pink Floyd, Nick Cave and Mozart, he stages Hamlet. His world becomes a realm where fiction and reality collide. Theatre gives directionless youth a sense of purpose.
This is a raw, poetic, powerful and intense Hamlet, that is both theatrical and musical in a way that has never been seen before.
