Collier plays Coltrane
John Coltrane would have turned 100 in 2026: alongside Pharoah Sanders, he ranks among the acknowledged mentors of the incandescent Isaiah Collier. A native of Chicago, the young saxophonist has made a rapid and remarkable impact on the jazz scene, also championing the power of music to raise awareness of the necessary fight for equality and social justice.
