"LëtzMile – Luxembourg City Road Mile"
In view of the second ever "LëtzMile – Luxembourg City Road Mile", scheduled for Saturday, 12 September 2026 on Avenue de la Liberté, changes to traffic flows will be in force to ensure that the event runs smoothly.
The section of Avenue de la Liberté between Boulevard de la Pétrusse and Rue Jean Origer, as well as Rue Goethe, Rue de la Grève, Rue Schiller, Rue Heine, Rue Dicks and Rue Sainte-Zithe will be closed to traffic from noon to 19:30.
The Martyrs car park will still be accessible on Saturday, 12 September 2026. However, drivers may experience delays when entering or leaving the car park between 16:20 and 17:40. During this period, the car park can be entered and exited via a temporary passage on Rue Sainte-Zithe. Drivers can access this passage from Rue Michel Rodange and will exit the car park down Rue Sainte-Zithe. The municipal bus and tram services will operate as normal.
The Service Circulation (Traffic Department) will ensure that proper signage is in place, and will signpost the detour route.
The City wishes to thank residents and road users for their understanding and regrets any inconvenience caused.
